Knowledge Transfer Between Research and Practice
The consistently high advisory quality of CenaCom is ensured through close cooperation with universities. Together with academic institutions, we supervise student research projects and theses, support scientific studies, and train young academics as well as mediators in ADR.
From current issues in conflict and negotiation management, we develop practical analyses and tools that are applied directly in our consulting work. On behalf of companies, we oversee research projects and implement their results into corporate structures under academic guidance.
CenaCom mediators serve as the interface between academia and practice.

Collaborative Research
Together with universities and businesses, CenaCom develops application-oriented and transfer-oriented Conflict Management Systems (CMS). The aim is to implement conflict management in participating organisations while also analysing and further developing conflict-management tools based on real-world corporate practice.
In doing so, CenaCom designs innovative concepts that take into account the professional and technical requirements of the participating organisations and individuals (see Systematic Conflict Management).
CenaCom Research connects all stakeholders within a specialised academic network and contributes to the development of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) models in Germany.
Bachelor’s / Master’s Theses
Experienced CenaCom mediators support students in identifying research topics and preparing academic papers.

Teaching: Universities
The close integration of CenaCom Research is most visibly reflected in academic teaching. As lecturers, adjunct faculty, and university professors, CenaCom mediators bring their practical experience directly into higher education.
Experienced CenaCom mediators supervise students in the Business Law programme at Pforzheim University during the preparation of their bachelor’s theses.
In the Entrepreneurship programme at DHBW Karlsruhe, students learn about the opportunities and potential of effective negotiation management.
