Enforceability refers to the possibility of enforcing an arbitration award made in arbitration proceedings through state courts if a party does not voluntarily comply with its obligations under the arbitration award. The same possibility exists for settlements reached before a state-recognized dispute resolution body. Insofar as these have enforceable content, they can be provided with an enforcement clause by the local court upon application.
