Out-of-court dispute resolution procedures are becoming more attractive
With the entry into force of the new Court Costs Act and the new schedule of lawyers’ fees on August 1, 2013, court costs and lawyers’ fees have risen. Alternative dispute resolution proceedings (conciliation, mediation or arbitration proceedings) therefore represent a serious alternative to conventional court proceedings for cost reasons. With out-of-court dispute resolution under the guidance of an experienced mediator or arbitrator, conflicts can be resolved more cost-effectively and more quickly.
