The decision has been made: The two associations for German air traffic, BdL and BDF, as well as BARIG, the association for international airlines in Germany, have decided in favor of söp (Schlichtungsstelle für den öffentlichen Personenverkehr e.V.) as the arbitration body for disputes between passengers and airlines. This means that in future, passengers can turn to the söp in a dispute with an airline if the airline has previously refused to settle the alleged claim.
