The demand for business mediation is increasing

A DAV future study predicts: The demand for commercial mediation will grow strongly as companies increasingly rely on out-of-court dispute resolution.

“The legal services market 2030 – A future study for the German legal profession” – this is the title of a comprehensive study carried out by Prognos AG on behalf of the German Bar Association (DAV) on the economic, demographic, social and technological developments in the legal services market over the next 20 years. The experts found that demand will increase, particularly for the out-of-court dispute resolution procedure “mediation” for commercial disputes. Competition will also increase due to the growing number of providers of consensual dispute resolution procedures (including arbitration boards, courts, non-professional organizations and lawyers). You can find a link to this study on the DAV website or in our download center.
